Email to your info address already reaches your Gmail. Here’s how to reply from it, too. It takes about five minutes, on a computer.
In Gmail, click the gear icon at the top right. Then click See all settings.
Open the tab called Accounts and Import.
Next to Send mail as, click Add another email address.
A small window opens. Type your business name, and your info address. Leave Treat as an alias ticked, and click Next Step.
Now type the four details we sent you in the app. The SMTP server, the port, the username and the password. Keep the secured connection using TLS, and click Add Account.
Gmail sends a confirmation email to your info address. It arrives in your Gmail inbox. Open it, and click the link.
Last, and optional: choose Reply from the same address the message was sent to. When you write an email, pick your info address in the From line.
That’s it. Stuck? Text us, and we’ll go through it with you.
Do you need this?
- Forwarding is free, and it only receives.Email to info@ your domain is passed on to your everyday Gmail. Nothing is stored with us, and there’s no extra inbox to check.
- Sending needs one Gmail setting.Until you do the steps below, your replies come from your Gmail address. After that, you can pick info@ in the From line.
- Already use Google Workspace or Outlook for your business email? Then you don’t need any of this. Your email stays exactly where it is — we don’t change it.
Before you start
- A computer. Gmail shows this setting on its website, not in the phone app.
- Your four sending details: server, port, username and password. We send them to you in the Local Pro Kit app, under More → Your web address.

Step 5 of 7
Type the four details from us
Type the SMTP server, port, username and password exactly as they appear in your app. Keep “Secured connection using TLS” selected. Click “Add Account”.
Your four details
We send you these in the app (More → Your web address). They’re different for every business, so copy each one from there.
Use the server we give you, not Gmail’s own SMTP server. Mail for your domain sent through Gmail’s server can fail the checks other mail services run, and land in spam.

Confirm the email Gmail sends you
Gmail emails your info@ address to check it’s yours. We forward it, so it arrives in your Gmail inbox, usually within a minute or two. Open it and click the link. Or copy the code from it into the small window and click “Verify”.
